US EPA  is offering

Water Quality Standards Academy - Basic Course

a five day basic introductory course designed for those

with fewer than six months of experience with water quality standards.

It will be offered will be offered this spring in the Washington DC area,

between April 5-9, 2004, and between May 17-21, 2004.

 

This comprehensive course introduces participants to all

aspects of the water quality standards program, including the

interpretation and application of the water quality standards

regulation; policies and program guidance; the development

of water quality criteria (human health, aquatic life,

sediment, nutrient and biological); and other facets of the program.
