Mr. Gardner's professional career began as a regulator in
environmental enforcement of one of the myriad of federal environmental laws enacted in
the 1970's. Following this governmental agency experience, he moved into corporate
management in a regulated industry directing environmental compliance projects and
coordinating administrative/legal appeals. Mr. Gardner transferred this direct industry
experience to project management for a variety of public and private sector clients for an
internationally-recognized engineering & construction company and subsequently, for a
small, regional consulting firm. Mr. Gardner rounded-out his employment experience with
more than three years in the Environmental Practice Group of a mid-size, Cleveland
Ohio-based, law firm's litigation department, before moving into private practice.
