Enhanced Water Quality Standards Information On-Line

EPA has upgraded the web site that provides the Agency's guidance for administering state and tribal water quality standards. The website has been upgraded to contain EPA's 1994 Water Quality Standards Handbook and over 100 new links to EPA documents and web pages with supporting information. The Handbook provides comprehensive guidance for implementing EPA's water quality standards regulation.

The enhanced site on the Internet is available at http://www.epa.gov/waterscience/standards/handbook/, where you can get both direct access to the Handbook and download printable copies.
