This report from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Joint
Program on the
Science and Policy of Global Change discusses the complicated interactions among
emissions, atmospheric chemistry, and climate regarding the distributions and
evolution of CO in the atmosphere. Based on the predicted emissions of methane
and carbon monoxide, this model predicts an increasing trend of carbon monoxide
in the next century, with appropriate graphs and charts. This study shows how
important it is to control emissions of both methane and carbon dioxide.
